About Our Service
Property Maintenance Support Built for Landlords
Keyharbour Property Services is designed for self-managing landlords who want to keep control of their tenancy without personally handling every maintenance issue. We provide a clear route for tenants to report repairs, assess what needs attention, coordinate access and carry out suitable day-to-day property maintenance where appropriate.
When a job requires a regulated or specialist trade, such as gas, electrical, roofing or other specialist work, we can coordinate the appropriate contractor rather than leaving you to start the search again. The aim is simple: one reliable maintenance point of contact for your rental property, while you remain responsible for the tenancy and key property decisions.
Our service is focused exclusively on landlords and rental properties, not general homeowner handyman work. This allows Keyharbour to build its systems, availability and service standards around the practical maintenance needs of local landlords across Portsmouth, Gosport, Fareham and surrounding areas.
Local Service Area
Landlord Property Maintenance Across Portsmouth, Gosport & Fareham
Keyharbour Property Services provides dedicated property maintenance support for self-managing landlords across Portsmouth, Gosport, Fareham and the surrounding local area.
We deliberately keep our service area focused. Property maintenance becomes harder to manage when contractors are travelling too far, appointments become unreliable or tenants are left waiting for updates. By working within a defined local area, Keyharbour can provide landlords with a more dependable point of contact for day-to-day rental property maintenance, tenant-reported repairs, void work and refurbishment.
Our service is designed specifically for landlords who manage their own tenancies but do not want to personally organise every repair, contractor visit or maintenance issue.
Portsmouth & Surrounding Areas
We provide landlord property maintenance support across selected areas of Portsmouth, with particular coverage around Cosham and Drayton, together with nearby Portchester.
Support can include tenant-reported repairs, everyday rental property maintenance, access coordination, doors and fixtures, minor plumbing issues, sealant and silicone work, decorating touch-ups and other suitable practical repairs.
Where regulated or specialist work is needed — such as gas, electrical, roofing or drainage — Keyharbour can coordinate the appropriate contractor while keeping the landlord informed.
Gosport, Lee-on-the-Solent & Stubbington
Keyharbour is based in Lee-on-the-Solent and supports landlords across Gosport, Lee-on-the-Solent and Stubbington.
Keeping our operation local helps us build a more reliable maintenance service for rental properties in the area. This includes day-to-day landlord repairs, tenant maintenance reporting, six-monthly maintenance checks, property refresh work and maintenance required between tenancies.
For self-managing landlords, the aim is to provide one consistent maintenance point of contact rather than having to organise a different tradesperson every time something goes wrong.
Fareham & Nearby Rental Properties
We also support landlords across Fareham with ongoing rental property maintenance, repairs and void preparation.
This can range from smaller maintenance issues through to larger property refreshes, bathrooms, kitchens, flooring and refurbishment work that is quoted separately.
The aim is not simply to provide another handyman service. Keyharbour gives local landlords a structured maintenance system with one point of contact, clear communication and continuity across the life of the tenancy.
Who’s Behind Keyharbour?
Why I Started Keyharbour
I’m Aleksandar — most people call me Alex — and I’m the person behind Keyharbour Property Services.
My wife and I have managed our own rental properties for around 13 years. She has mainly looked after the legal and administrative side, while I have dealt with the practical side — tenant maintenance issues, repairs, contractors, void periods and getting properties ready for the next tenancy.
Over the years, the biggest frustration was rarely the major jobs. It was the everyday maintenance that still needed sorting properly and quickly. A simple repair could mean tenant messages, arranging access, finding someone reliable, waiting for a quote, chasing people who did not turn up and sometimes finding afterwards that the work had not been completed properly.
Trying to manage all of that alongside my own work often left me being pulled in two directions. Even relatively straightforward repairs or void-property work could take far longer than they should.
That experience is why I created Keyharbour
I wanted to provide the type of property maintenance support I would have genuinely valued as a landlord: one reliable point of contact for tenants, someone who can assess what is actually wrong, deal with suitable everyday repairs, coordinate access and arrange trusted specialist trades when required.
I have been involved in practical building and property work since my teens, originally working alongside my father. Today I personally handle much of Keyharbour’s everyday maintenance, decorating, carpentry, minor plumbing, kitchen and bathroom work, property refreshes and void preparation. Gas, electrical and other regulated or specialist work is passed to the appropriate qualified tradespeople.
Keyharbour is also deliberately limited to 30 rental properties initially. I would rather support a smaller number of landlords properly than promise a level of service we cannot consistently deliver.
The idea behind Keyharbour is simple: giving self-managing landlords dependable maintenance support without having to employ their own maintenance person full-time.
